Admission
| Life in a residential
treatment community is often a new and confusing experience for most
clients. To minimize stress we have developed a structured program
that enables the entire community to function in a constructive supportive
atmosphere. Only those who are willing to seek recovery shall be admitted.
There are no exclusions based on age, race, gender, sexual orientation,
religion, or lack of religion. Staff will conduct a personal screening interview with all prospective residents for appropriateness of admission. Upon admission to Turn Around each resident is fully briefed of all policies and procedures of our program. Staff provides supervision of the residential community. Each unit has a Senior Resident who reports to the Mirror Image staff, Residential Director, and Program Administrator. The Program Administrator functions as the authority for all of the programs issues. Our recovery approach will achieve an understanding of the total person through ongoing evaluation, weekly groups, and a 12-step philosophy. The continuum of care shall be based on the support of the individual during the various phases of their recovery. |
